This program consists of three half-day virtual/live online sessions. The training starts at 8.30 AM and will conclude at 12.30 PM on all 3 days (Greenwich Mean Time (UK Time). There will be coffee breaks, of course. You can expect consistent Q&A and networking sessions throughout the training.
Module 1: Understanding the role of data in DEI and establishing a baseline
This module introduces the foundational role of data in DEI and guides participants in setting a measurable starting point for their organization.
- Understand the significance of data in DEI strategy. Learn how data provides objective insights that help identify inequities and track progress over time.
- Identify key DEI metrics (KPI’s). Explore which indicators are most relevant for measuring DEI.
- Identify sources and learn how to collect DEI data. Understand methods for gathering both quantitative and qualitative data, including surveys, HR systems, and interviews.
- The ethical and privacy aspects of data collection for DEI. Discuss how to handle sensitive data responsibly, ensuring confidentiality, consent, and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Conducting a DEI baseline measurement. Learn how to compile and analyze initial data to establish a clear picture of the current state of DEI in your organization.
Exercise: Participants will complete a DEI data scan of their own organization (or a case study), identifying available data sources and outlining a plan for conducting a baseline measurement.
